The idea for Emerald Paddle Academy began when a Dublin-based physical education teacher discovered pickleball on a trip to the United States and realized how inclusive and quick-to-learn the sport was. She joined local clubs, trained with international coaches, and began running small, welcoming beginner sessions so people could try the game without feeling overwhelmed. The demand grew across Dublin and Cork, inspiring a team of Irish coaches who share a commitment to safe technique, fun play, and community. Today, we run regular weekend clinics, after-work classes, and school programs, always with the same core: help newcomers become confident players who love the game.
